| What is "My Boutique"? A place where you can add items to your closet, create outfits, publish outfits to the runway and communicate with friends. |
| How do I get to the ‘My Boutique’ page? You can get to ‘My Boutique’ by clicking on the link located in the top right of the Home Page under the Shopping bag and above the category tabs. |
| How do I add items to my closet? Mouse over any product thumbnail and a QUICKVIEW button will appear. Click on the QUICKVIEW button, select size and color, then click “add to closet.” You can also add items to your closet from any product detail page. |
| How do I create an outfit? Once you have added items to your closet, you can then drag items one-by-one over to the dressing room to create your outfit. |
| How do I layer items when I create an outfit? Once an item is in the dressing room, run your mouse over the item. A small black & white arrow icon will appear at the top of the item. Click on this icon. Options will appear that allow you to that item forward, backward, to the front or to the back. |
| How do I move items around in my dressing room? Once you have moved an item into the dressing room, you can move it around by clicking and dragging the item to where you want it to be. |
| How do I edit an outfit I already created and saved? Go to the “My Outfits” tab in My Boutique. Click and drag the outfit that you want to edit over to the dressing room. |
| How do I save an outfit? At the bottom of the dressing room is a button that says “Save Outfit.” Remember to give the outfit a descriptive name and tags before you save it so others can find it easily. You must register or already be registered in order to save an outfit. |
| How do I publish an outfit to the runway? At the bottom of the “My boutique” page is a button that says “Post to the Runway.” Outfits posted to the Runway will appear in less than one hour. If you do not wish to share the outfit with the entire Fashion Community you can choose to just share your outfit with others using Share with a Friend. |
| How do I share an outfit with a friend? At the bottom of the “My boutique” page is a button that says “Share with a Friend.” You can share the outfit in two ways, via normal email or by using the Fashion Community messaging system. Each method is selected by using the appropriate tab on the top of the “Share with a Friend” screen. You can always share your outfit with a friend without posting it to the Runway. |
| How do I purchase an outfit that I created? At the bottom of the “My boutique” page is a button that says “Add Outfit to Shopping Bag.” You will then be able to purchase one item or the entire outfit. |
| Do I have to have an account to create an outfit? No. But you do need an account to save outfits and post them to the runway. |
What is a tag? A tag is words that describe your outfits. Tags are used by the Fashion Community to search for outfits which interest them. |
| How do I suggest a new tag? At the bottom of the “My Boutique” page, there is a section that says “Tags.” Underneath this box is a link that says “Edit Outfit Tags.” Click on this link. A box will appear with a link that says “Suggest a Tag.” Click on this link to suggest new tags. |
| What can I do under ‘My Messages’? You can check your messages, write messages, create a list of friends and block users. |
Why do I need a Screen Name? You need a screen name in order to save outfits. Your screen name is a way for you and your outfits to be identified on The Runway. Your screen name can also be used for messaging. You should never include your real last name or any contact information in your screen name. Your screen name needs to be unique, no duplicates are allowed. |

| How do I remove items from my closet? Run your mouse over the item that you want to remove and click on the “product info” button that appears. Under the picture of the item will be an option for you to “remove this item.” |
| How do I remove or delete an outfit? Run your mouse over the outfit that you want to remove and click on the “outfit info” button that appears. Under the picture of the outfit will be an option for you to “delete outfit.” If you delete an outfit it will also be removed from The Runway but your Stylist Rating will not be affected. |
| How do I check to see if an item is in-stock or not? Click on the “my closet” tab. In the upper right corner is a link that says “manage closet.” Click on this link. A list of each item will appear and under “status” you can see if the item is in stock or out of stock. |
| What happens if an item is out of stock? If an item is out of stock, you will still be able to see it in your closet and outfits, but you will not be able to add it to your shopping bag or purchase it. |
| How do I report inappropriate behavior? At the bottom of the “My Boutique” page and above the “Tag” section is a link that says “report inappropriate behavior.” Click on this link. |
| How do I block a user? Go under “my messages” and click on your inbox. Click on the message you want to read. An option will appear in red to “block sender.” Click on this option if you want to block that user. |
| How do I create a list of friends? Go under “my messages” and click on your inbox. Click on the message you want to read. An option will appear in red to “accept friend request.” Click on this option if you want to add them to your friends list. |
| What is the Runway? The Runway is a place where you can view and rate all published outfits in the Fashion Community. |

| Can I rate my own outfits? Yes, but your rating will only count one time. |
| How do I search outfits? At the top of ‘The Runway’ is where you can search outfits. You can use the drop down menus to narrow your search. |
| What is my ‘outfit rating’? Your outfit rating is the number of times that outfit was rated “love it.” |
| What is my ‘stylist rating’? Your stylist rating is the number of times that you were rated across all of your outfits. |
| What is ‘Rate It’? Rate it is where you can view and rate other stylists outfits. |
| How do I view more outfits on the runway? In the right corner of the runway, above where it says ‘Rate the Runway,’ is a button that says ‘See more outfits.’ |
